Shopping on Oahu's North Shore after playing at the beach all day is the perfect way to get out of the sun and find some made in Hawaii products to bring home. The crafty shopper will easly find the main shopping center in Haleiwa, The North Shore Market Place, but their are also some secret spots thet can pay off if your willing to get of the beaten path a little. The Waialua Sugar Mill is next door to Haliewa but 100 years behind time wise and you can find some great shopping oppertunities like Island X, Waialua Coffee and the North Shore Soap Factory. For the early birds the Saturday Farmers Markets on the North Shore are a must see. One Farmers Market is at the Sunset Beach elementry School and the other is in the front of the Wialua Sugar Mill.
