How
to Get to the North Shore Soap Factory (click on the map to zoom
In)
If you are driving from Haleiwa come down Waialua Beach Rd. and
drive until you see an elementary school on the left. Just after
the school you will turn left on Goodale Ave. You can only turn
left, there is no right turn. Drive a short distance until you
reach the stop sign, turn right onto Kealohanui St. (there may
be no signage). You will be at the front gate of the Historic
Waialua Sugar Mill. Our building is the 60 foot tall cone
shaped building at the front of the Mill, you can’t miss
it!
If
you are coming from Honolulu follow the H2 Freeway and pass by
Scholfield barracks. Do not enter into Wahiawa. You will come
to a fork in the road, if you go right you will pass by Dole plantaion
and then go to Haleiwa and follow the directions above. Otherwise
you will take the left fork and go to the town of Waialua. Once
you come down the hill, just keep going straight. Pass Eric's
gas station and go to the right at the traffic circle. This road
has no signage but it is Goodale Ave. Start looking for the smoke
stack and turn left at Lulu's lunch wagon. Your now on Kealohanui
St. and you will see the Historic Waialua Sugar Mill buildings
at the front of the park. We are in the 60 foot tall cone shaped
building you can’t miss it.
