Pikake Hawaii Bath Salt Key Ingredients:
Epsom Salts: Traditionally used to prepare foot baths, intended to soothe sore feet. The reason for the inclusion of epsom salts to baths is partially cosmetic; Epsom salts prevents some of the temporary skin wrinkling ("pruning") which is caused by prolonged immersion of extremities in pure water. However, magnesium sulfate (or epsom salts) can also be absorbed into the skin, reducing inflammation. When used through soaking, these salts absorb through skin and soothe muscle pains while helping to improve rough patches in the skin.
Hawaiian Sea Salt: This natural exfoliant removes dead skin cells and relieves muscular tension.
Baking Soda: Baking Soda is the common name for sodium bicarbonate. It is excellent for reliving minor skin irritations. When added to water, it is also recommended for the treatment of insect bites and stings, prickly heat rash, poison ivy, poison oak and poison sumac. We use baking soda in our salts as a buffering agent and to adjust the Ph of our of the skin; which softens skin.
Tip Zone:

-Can be used in combination with our Kukui oil or Body oil to create a heavy duty foot salt scrub. Add 1 part kukui oil to 2 parts soaking salts and mix in a bowl. Scrub away dead skin build up on feet. (back
