The Descendance Indigenous dance group from Australia are a real treat at the Honolulu Festival. They talked story and then Stamped some natural soap with the North Shore Soap Factory in between shows. We talked about Kukui Nut oil and the skin benefits of using natural soap. They will be on the Big Island next performing in Hilo 3-19-08.
The Descendance Indigenous dance group are a big part of the Honolulu Festival. This is their forth year and I can see why. With lots of energy and great music they tell stories of their homeland and take the audience out of Hawaii and into a campfire trible bush dance. These guys are great. We had an oppertunity to get some of the Descendance members to stamp some soap and tell some stories at our booth. This was a real suprise and we enjoyed them as did everyone who was lucky to catch their show.
